April Fools Festival Saturday & Sunday April 5th & 6th 2008Held on the grounds of James River Cellars. Join all four Heart of Virginia wineries for a weekend of good food, great wine, live music and crafts vendors. Your ticket gets you tastings from Cooper, Grayhaven, James River and Lake Anna wineries, a souvenir wine glass to keep and toe-tappin’ good tunes by Rockfish Willie (Saturday) and The Taters (Sunday.) B&B Seafood will be dishing up their famous crabcakes, barbeque and hotdogs - guests are also welcome to bring their own picnic. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Caribbean Beach Party Luau Saturday August 2nd 2008Held on the Grounds of Lake Anna Winery. Join Lake Anna, James River, Cooper and Grayhaven wineries for an evening of great wine, exceptional food and live Caribbean music. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and dance under the stars. Taste wines from all four wineries and kick back with a glass of your favorite. Savor delectable Caribbean foods by Leslie Slome Catering. Harvest Passport Winetrail Weekend Saturday & Sunday November 1st & 2nd 2008Join the Heart of Virginia wineries for a weekend on the trail. Enjoy the beautiful Virginia country side in all its fall glory as you hop from winery to winery. Its a great value! Your ticket gets you tastings at all four wineries, a souvenir wine glass to keep, snacks and munchies, barrel tastings and wine trail specials. Can’t do it all in a weekend? No problem! Keep your glass and ticket and finish the trail whenever you like. Everyone receives a special prize for completing the trail. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at any of the wineries the day of the event or in advance. Tickets make a great gift for the wine lover in your life! |
